The Tenpenny Travelers are:
- Mike Quigley - vocals, guitar, mandolin
- Ariel Stewart - vocals, clarinet, cowbell!
- Tara Maurer - vocals, flute, percussion, various recorders
- Angela Lacey - vocals, bodhran, penny whistles, and miscellaneous percussion
- Meredith "Merry" Peterson - vocals, bodhran, mandolin
- Joy Lew - vocals, cello, accordian, tenor recorder
The Tenpenny Travelers began as a ragged lot of musical geeks that performed together for dances and pub-sings at re-enactments and themed weddings in the Atlanta area. We were known as the Kings Gate Consort in those days and we made our in-play home at the Two Crowns Tavern. Since then we have gone on to play the Georgia Renaissance Festival, private parties and other venues, and expanded our musical range.
